A day trip to our local ski hill — Flumserberg

After a quick bite for breakfast, we grab the number 3 tram heading to Zürich's main train station to catch the SBB to Unterterzen. We sit back, relax, and watch the alps roll by. At Unterterzen we are quickly ushered on the gondola that's waiting for us, right next to the stop. Nice. We arrive at the base of the ski lifts 20 minutes later, click into our skis, and sit on the padded chairlift making its way through the trees to the top of the mountain. We pause for a moment to absorb the view. Then we proceed to slide down the face of the mountain. Again. And again. And again...

What a great Sunday.

How awesome that that's a day trip you can take advantage of. Our daytrips are to an exotic place called Ikea. Miss you tons.

It is awesome. And we feel so fortunate. Maybe you can bring the little one with you and share the fun? Hope to see you here for the World Cup!
